Front's Channel API allows developers to build a two-way communication stream that synchronizes with Front.

Many Front teams have their own systems they want to connect to Front as a channel. With the Channels API, a team using Front or a partner of Front can build a new, first-class channel type. All Front users will be able to add the channel to be used, as they would with a native, Front built channel.

For more information on how to get started, please see our guide for Creating a Partner Channel.

If you're looking for our incoming_messages custom channel endpoint instead, head here.

The following endpoints are meant to synchronize conversations and messages from a third party system to Front.

When a message is sent or received in your third party system, synchronize it with Front by using these endpoints.
